Explanation

---

1 . Trace the design by yourself or use a stencil on fabric as I taught in the course in detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work.

Today, I’m going to share a painting I did on my dress. So let’s get started.

🌿 Step I

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then I attached the frame to the white dress and secured the fabric tightly. After that, using a pen, I drew the shape of a flower. Then I drew another flower shape on the right side.

Now, I drew another flower shape on the left side and added some leaves and designs on the left side as I liked. I repeated the same design on the left side. My design was now complete. Then I started the coloring process.

🌿 Step III

First, I took white paint. Then with the help of a brush, I moistened the area slightly with water where I was going to paint. After that, I began coloring. I painted one flower first and then gradually painted all the flowers with white color. Then I colored the flower buds as well.

	Red color

Pink color

Now I used red paint to color the top flower. I also painted the bud on the right side. Then I took pink paint and colored the right-side flower petals. I left a little white space along the edges.

Then I took blue paint and colored the flower on the left side. I colored the left-side flower bud with red paint.

🌿 Step VI

	Green color

After that, I took green paint. I wet the leaves slightly with water using a brush. Then I started painting the leaves green. Gradually, I painted all the leaves and then also painted the stems in the middle.

🌿 Step VII

Yellow color

Now I took yellow paint and used it to color the center of the flowers. On the left-side flower, I created a dotted pattern to design the pollen area. Then I used a black gel pen to clearly outline the entire design.

🌿 Step VIII

At this point, I did some photography. Meanwhile, the paints had dried. Even after taking photos, I kept the dress under the fan for a while.

🌿 Step IX

Now I turned the dress inside out and ironed it using an iron machine. After that, it looked even more beautiful.

I captured some photos using tags, and then I took a selfie holding the dress I painted.

3 . Did you face any difficulty during tasks or anything in purchasing materials?

Yes, while I was painting on fabric, I faced a bit of difficulty because some extra water had spilled, which affected my coloring slightly. However, I didn’t face much trouble in buying the materials. That’s because there’s a market close to my home where everything is available. Besides, almost all the materials were already in my collection, so I didn’t have to deal with much hassle. But since I was a bit unwell, it was a little difficult for me to work.

Yes, of course. Fabric painting or any other kind of creativity significantly reduces my stress. I love engaging in any creative work. When I’m busy with such tasks, I completely lose track of time. Being occupied with fabric painting or other creative activities makes me feel very satisfied. It helps me stay well and allows me to live more joyfully.
