Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S25- W1: which is all time my favourite topic "Basic tools /How to trace design on fabric ". this amazing challenge organised by @sualeha . So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic.

The things we will need for painting on cloth are as follows:

"White cotton cloth*
Frame
Carbon paper
Pencil
Brush
Color

Step 1

First of all, I tightened the cloth in the frame, after that I put carbon paper on the cloth and put the flower design .

Step 2

I placed carbon paper on the cloth and then with the help of pencil I made the flower design on the cloth very easily.

Step 3

I saw that the flower design was well drawn on the cloth, then I darkened it a little more so that it stood out and became clearly visible.

Step 4

Then I started colouring. I coloured the flower in yellow. I coloured the leaves in green, then the flower stem in brown. I coloured the circle between the flowers in red and finally I coloured the outline in black.This is how my work was completed.

The list of materials I needed for painting on cloth and the cost incurred in buying them is as follows:

No, I did not face any special difficulty. Because I found colors and brushes near my house. But yes, I did not find the frame near my house. These days it is not the time for embroidery, very few people must be doing it, so I had to buy the frame from the market. But I did not have time to go to the market, so I asked my son to bring me the frame.

Now I had to work a little hard to explain it to him. Because the children had never seen a frame. I have picked up a frame for the first time after my marriage, I got a very good feeling, I remembered my childhood. When I used to do embroidery, then I took it out from YouTube and showed that a frame looks like this. Do not bring any wrong items, I did not face any problem with anything else.

Whether it is fabric painting or any other creative work, the mind gets a lot of satisfaction. Because whenever we do any such work, our mind starts flying with imagination and when something is made and it is perfect, then it feels that yes, our hard work was successful.

At that time, a very good feeling comes, the best feeling is that at that time our mind moves away from useless worries and gets involved in creativity which is very important for today's busy life.

Conclusion

So in this way I have made a small effort, after a long time I have done brush, frame, such work, so many of my old memories got refreshed. I thank Suleha Mitra for launching this type of competition, because nowadays people do not have time for this kind of creativity. But due to this type of competition, people are taking out time.
