Make a block painting texture on any fabric or out fit you like by wooden blocks, using any design you like with details step by step procedure and photograph

I am doing block painting for the first time today, I am enjoying doing this work. Today I have taken my niece's kurta for block painting, on which I will do block painting with white color. I did not get wooden blocks, so I used ladyfinger. Because it is not very big, and I can print small blocks from it. Let's see what materials we need for block painting.

Step 1

First of all I pressed (iron )the kurta well, so that there are no creases in the kurta and I do not face any problem in doing block printing.

Step 2

To do the block painting, I had to keep a hard sheet inside the cloth. For that I used a children's writing pad. I kept the writing pad inside the kurta.

This had two advantages, one side of the kurta where I had to do the block painting became hard and the other side of the colour I was applying did not come on the other part of the cloth.

Step 3

I softened the sponge by adding a little, or half a spoon of water, squeezed out the excess water and then I put the colour on the sponge with the help of a brush.

After that I cut the ladyfinger and took a sheet of ladyfinger and put it on the sponge and then I started making designs on the kurta.

Step 4

First of all I did the block painting on the kurta's hem, then on the neck, after that I did the block painting on both the folds and finally did the block print to make the hem look darker.

Step 5

My final kurta is ready after printing. I let it dry for a while. This is my niece's kurta. I hope she will like it when she sees it.

Share with us did you faced any difficulty for finding/searching Wooden block or not

I had a lot of difficulty in finding wooden blocks. I inquired at many places in the market, but the children could not find it anywhere, so I got very upset. Because I wanted to participate in the competition with this. I like doing all this work and learning new things. So when I could not find wooden blocks, I then looked at many things in my house, hoping that I could find some embossed thing, which could be used to make a block painting. But I did not find anything special.

Then I searched on YouTube and saw that people are doing block painting with ladyfinger vegetable. I became happy after seeing this and then I did my block painting. As you all can see, a very good work of block painting has been done with ladyfinger also.

What do you think does the outfit looking more beautiful after block painting??

Yes, there is no doubt that this kurta looks much better than before. Earlier it was completely plain, but now it has been given a new look. In which it looks very good even by using only one color and today's children like such light work, as far as I think my niece will definitely like this kurta. Girls wear this type of kurta very easily with jeans.

4.Do you think you can improving your painting skill on fabric or not by weekly course ???

Absolutely, with this type of weekly course we can improve our painting skills. I tell you the truth, earlier I have painted only one sheet and that too before my marriage and today it has been 20 years. After so many years now I am doing all this work and I am making block painting for the first time in my life. So all these cursors are refreshing my memories and helping me learn a new thing.

Such courses give us a very good experience, we never even thought about it that whether we can really do a quick painting with just one ladyfinger or with a block. This doesn't take much time at all.

I look forward to your new course.

I want to invite my friends to take part in this contest: , @kouba01 , @damithudaya , @genomil"
