🌹I am @m-princess. I am from Punjab. Alhamdulillah! I am perfectly fine and I hope all my friends will be perfectly fine. As you all know, the weather is very nice today and it has been raining lightly since morning. Today I am very happy to participate in this contest. Because it is a very amazing and beautiful contest organized by our beloved ma'am @sualeha. Through this contest not only will we learn how to make pots. But we can also use them to decorate our homes beautifully. So ma'am that's why I have decided to participate in this contest. And I have tried my best to follow your instructions. I hope you'll like my entry today. انشاءاللہ🌹
So friends, I didn't have much material to make this pot, but still I tried to make it quite well with the help of my hands.
- I took a beautiful red basket with small round holes and started covering it with tape. First I covered the bottom with tape. Then I covered the rest of the area around it completely with tape.
- Then I took some cement in a small bowl and added water to it to make a thin liquid. After making the cement liquid, I spread it well all around the basket.
- Then I took the clay in another bowl and poured the cement into it and mixed both of these things well and then added water to it and mixed it. I poured all this mixture into a beautiful pot and then set it aside to dry.
When I started making this cement pot, it was raining heavily that day, so it took a whole day and a night to dry.
- When I saw that the pot had sunk quite a bit, I started trying to get it out of the basket. I cut the basket into two parts with a knife and then I took the cement pot out of the basket. You can see in the picture how beautifully the pot was shaped, but I still left it in the sun for another three to four hours to let it dry well and strengthen it.
- To paint it, I used white paint, kerosene oil, paint colors, and a brush.
- I poured white paint into a plastic plate. Added a few drops of kerosene oil to it and mixed them well. Then I started painting the pot white with a brush. And after painting it white in the first code, this color came out.
After painting I put the pot in the sun for three to four hours because it had kerosene oil added to it. So this paint took longer to dry.
- About four hours later, I took the pot again and started doing another coding on it. And once again I painted it over nicely with white paint. After that I put it aside to dry further. And you can see in the picture how cute it looks after painting it white for the second time. It took almost the whole day to dry this paint.
- When it was thoroughly dry, I started designing more on it at night. I thought of coloring this port of mine in different beautiful colors. So I designed it with a different color. I used red, blue, green, black, yellow, pink, and orange paint to design it.
And on the top of the pot. I designed a half-circle design in black and red paint.
After doing all this designing. I put this port away to dry. And then when I woke up in the morning and saw it. It looked very beautiful. Then I put soil in it. And planted beautiful flowers on top of it.

Yes, I have faced trouble in buying material. The first difficulty was I have to buy cement from 13 Km away from my house. There was no cement in my area. second was paints were missing and I have to buy again. I visited three different shops. This was so tiring because I went on my foot. Brushes were easy to find but not same size I wanted. In the end, I managed everything. These little problems made more value of my work. Buying materials is not only shopping, This was a part of the whole creative. Every small challenge teach me patience. All challenges made the final result feel more special.
Yes, I think this made me very happy. I made this first time and result was excellent. I When I touch cement and and make shape it, my mind feel relax. Painting is my favourite part. This was like giving life to something plain. I forget about stress and focus only on colours and designs. It’s peaceful. When I finish, I feel proud, like I made a small piece of beauty. This hobby is not only about making pots. It’s about making moments that heal the heart. In my opinion , all steemians must try it. A few minutes of making pottery can change your mood.
May all my friends always be happy🤗 and remember me in your prayers🤲. |

Saludos amiga
