Step- by- Step Procedure ✨

Step 1 Preparing the Mold

I used a cardboard box as a mold but before I used it, I draw a perfect lines using black marker for perfect shape for my coloured pottery then I taped it for better oiling and oiled it with a little oil.

Step 2 Mixing the Materials

I used plaster of Paris( POP) this time because it dries snappily. I mixed it with water and also appended blue colour into the admixture. The paste turned into a beautiful ocean blue shadiness which I genuinely liked.

Since POP dries presto, within 2 – 3 hours my pot was ready to demold. I gently removed the mold and the half cut plastic bottle.

Step 4 Decoration

To make the design appealing, I decorated it with ocean- themed elements like fish, squid, Goliath, doormat, anchor, and starfish which I also made by using white cardboard and draw and paint it using acrylic colours. These various cut- outs made the all piece look alive and lively.
