A warm welcome to my blog. I am sure that my steemit family will be doing fantastic. I am also fit , Alhamdulillah 🤗. My dear lady @sualeha organized a contest which is about Home decor pottery out of "plaster of Paris. I am grateful to her for this unique and nice course let's start:

Procedure :

I have decided to make a flower vase from plastic paris with a very different design for today's contest. I was watching videos on how to make a vase, so I liked this design the most, so I started making it. To make it, first I took two plastic bottles. I cut these into three pieces.

In my second step, I started the process of making it, so I started connecting the two bottle pieces I had made with the help of Elfi . I had cut the cap part separately, so I attached this part to the top of the bottle with the help of Elfi and in this way I created a beautiful plastic vase shape.

After that, I took a white bowl and added plaster of Paris to it and by adding water, I made it into a thick mixture. I had cut small pieces of cloth, so I put these clothes in the mixture with this mixture and filled it with it, and I started applying it to the top of the bottle. Similarly, I covered the entire vase by covering it with a thick mixture of cloth.

After that I prepared the mixture with a thin mixture in another bowl and with the help of a brush I applied this mixture over the whole vase. After that I put it to dry and after making it dry a lot of beautiful shape was ready.

After that, I started the process of painting on it, so I thought of giving it two shades. I gave it a black shade in the mid to make it beautiful. Then , I gave it red shade for more beautiful look. Then I placed golden stones in it.

• Yes I really like pottery which is made by hand, especially with my own hand. It gives a simple and natural look. I feel handmade things have some soul inside, because people make it with love and patience. In my home if I put a small clay pot or vase, it will change the full look of the room. Modern decoration is fine, but handmade pots give a warm feeling, like the old tradition of our culture. I like the rough surface, not too shiny, it shows it is made by hand not machine. When I see it, I imagine the potter working slowly on the wheel, shaping with hands. That imagination makes me respect more. So yes I like pottery from hands for my home decor.

• If I get a chance to gift pottery, I will give it to my Steemit friend @m-princess , reason is very simple, she always supports me in my work and posts. Well steemians, the handmade pottery piece is not only decoration, it carries some effort and love. When I give it to her, I feel like I am giving part of my heart. You know guys friendship on Steemit is also strong when we share something from the heart. Pottery stays for a long time, so he will remember me whenever she sees it in her room. That feeling is more beautiful than just sending words. I want that my gift bring a smile on her face. So my choice is her only.
