Welcome to the third week in Steemit learning Challenge Season 25 to all my lovely friends. Today I am very happy to present the third week of this proposal. In the third week I share the complete method,tips and techniques for block painting by wooden blocks method and basic colour selection,fabric selection and precautions during work .techniques about fabric painting and fabric selection. The second week,s feedback I really glad when received your great participations in the course.

For third week I like to teach you How to block paint on fabric actually it's very old and popular style of painting till present time ,so guys without ado let's move on with me and explore more about block fabric painting ๐จ.....
Block painting is a technique used in art and design:
- Block painting involves applying paint or ink to a block of material (wood, linoleum, etc.) to create a design or image. The block is then used to print the design onto paper or fabric.
Techniques
- Relief printing: The design is carved into the block, and the raised areas are inked.
- Color layering: Multiple blocks can be used to layer different colors.

- By first I spread my scarf on hard and straight surface like table then,I used soft cotton fabric this time it's carried fabric paint easily.

- Take a clean bowl added black fabric paint along with few drops of water for make a thinner paste,make sure never added to much water otherwise it will spoil/spread out from the outline and look bad and messy.Do dear students be careful during mixing water in the paint .Take a clean dry sponge and convert all paint that you make on foam .

- Tap the wooden blocks on the foam and covered the block completely by the paint then put on specific area that you want to print on the fabric ,press tight by hand the design on wooden blocks exactly print on the fabric then let's dry for 2 hours then pressed from iron now it's ready to use.

It's very simple and quick way of painting on any fabric or clothes for that used by block and you can print any design you like to blocks easily these wooden blocks are available at art or stationary shops in very cheap prices,and different designs you can also buy from daraz or any other online shopping ๐ ๐๏ธ app .if you had great artistic skill you can creat your own block at home infact creativity had no limits....

- The second style in which I used my elder son,s shirt called kameez in my country it's a long short and national dress of Pakistan I used red base of Kurta and print it with white paint ,infact when you had dark base for painting you surely used soft or white colour for block painting or any kind of painting ๐๏ธ.

I started with neck side of the Kurta for block prints, gradually I pasted block around the corners of the button sides .

Friends painting on fabric or any other creative mediums you need patience first then focus on your work and third one never copied anyone,s work ,make original and adopt your own style I am sure your work will definitely appreciated by your family and friends and automatically your skills become more sharp and unique.

Me and my elder son ,he wore my design block print Kurta ,I giving you just idea how to print it's your own choice of fabric or out you picked for the task...
Always work on hard and straight surface other wise you faced mis print or bad impression of your block print on fabric.
I share above the YouTube video this will help you to understand the blending of two shades and multiple shades addition in your design in proper way.
My model of this week with his mom ๐๐,my boys also had keen interest in drawing, painting and crafting..So guys it's all about from my today's lesson I hope will enjoy when you make your outfit paint in your style๐ waiting for your many good entries in week :2 for any query asked freely in comments section of this post For next week:I will talk about Block painting .... Tips
- As I said above you need hard surface for block painting for clear and exactly design.
- Experiment with different ratios of colors to create unique shades.
When you start your work don't forget to placed any cardboard or news paper on the back of your working surface.
Always add a few drops of water to your fabric paint; it allows for smooth, runny strokes, and your painting looks more vibrant and stain-free.
Dry the painting for at least 2 hours, then iron the painting surface on the backside of the cloth then ironed.
If you're working on cotton fabric, you must add a few drops of binder; it will fix your painting on clothes nicely.
Hand wash your clothes, washing machine might be colour faid or birrer the fabric painting.
- Mixing basic colors can create new hues! Here are some primary color combinations:

- Blue
- Yellow
- Note:
Some of my lovely students were faced difficulties for finding fabric painting materials for those who can use Acrylic paint instead of fabric paint but add more water before used because they are too thick ,we need thin running paint for smooth brush strokes in fabric for good results
