Pottery making allows for creative expression and completing a pottery piece can give you a sense of pride and accomplishment. The process of creating can be therapeutic and help reduce stress and anxiety

*Greetings and blessings to all my artist friends*

Welcome to Steemit Challenge Season 26 to all my lovely friends. I am very happy to have this opportunity it's brilliant chance for those who are really willing to learn pottery making and painting with me. The course outline consists of 6 parts weekly in which I love to share the basic tips and techniques practically with demonstration of basic things needed for work on different materials like cement,white cement,plaster of paris , musiac pot making, different types of beautiful pot making etc.

Friends, today I am very happy to present the second week of this proposal. For the this week, as I mentioned in my application post, starting from the beginner level makes it easy to understand further step-by-step moves at the advanced level gradually so moved on second level... That's "White cement pottery making with painting***

*Things we need*

^{I am using utensils/equipments that already at your home it's saved your time and money...Happy learning...❣️}

Materials
1 kg cement
Water as needed
2 Plastic molds
Matalic septulla
Few amount of oil for grease mold

Procedure Step by step

Friends I divided procedure into main four steps

1 : Mold preparation
2 : Clay /materials mixing and fixing
3 : Let it dry then demolding
4 : Painting/final presentation

By first I took a plastic pot this time I used vertical style pot having height because we wants to made planter /garden pot for that it's suitable.

Step :1 Mold preparation

Grease the pots with tissues paper or any cloth piece applied evenly on the Inner sides of the mold pot and for middle hole pot from outer sides then placed the middle pot in the mold of the center as you see in picture... now the mold is ready .

Step :2 Clay /materials mixing and fixing

Now moved on second and very important step,the material mixing ,took a bowl added white cement that enough for you mold or pot size ,in white cement mixture we no need for sand mixing only added water and mixed well .The mixture incorporated with spatula mixed till we got the fine paste having runny consistency then pour carefully in a grease pot .

Using spatula for smooth the top layer ,poured half mixture in a mold then inserted bottle slowly in the middle of the mold pot and make sure bottle must be filled with water we need weight for perfect inner shared after dry .The mold pot filled with mixed then tap to settle or fixed for required shaped ,now l.That will removed after dried pot completely.

Step :3 Let it dry and demolding

When everything fixed let it dry,set a side for 12 hours for complete dried .After 12 hours Demold the pot by using this technique.On the back of the mold poured hot water followed that tip you will easily demold the pot .

By first I slightly moved the middle pot first due to oil application it will easily removed and came out now I poured hot water on the back of the mold with in few minutes the pot demold and easily came out from it exactly mold shaped .

Step :4 Painting/final touch ups

Now we reached at last step.... painting 🖌️ on my cement pot ,I got the perfect defined shape and texture on sides by gave texture....

^{As a primer I put white acrylic paint, the black colour after that multicoloured texture from tooth brush every application of paint wait for dried the previous one}

^{I didn't used silicone mold here just because of it's not available easily and quite expensive,many steamins share there hurdles regarding materials that's why I kept in my mind I will gives you more simple, money saving ideas in next weeks}

I made this pot pot by followed the same method that I above explained you but the size of the mold were small and trying to teach you free hand painting on this pot .

By first used white acrylic paint as a base then coloured free hand stocks from purple 💜 then 🩷 and red ♥️ all these colours looks adorable on white base .I also made saucer for the plants pot and also painted red hearts on the circle shaped saucer.

1 . Make a pot out of white cement use any design of mold as your convenience ,follow given method in the course ,add detail with step-by-step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of your work.
