The man who shows us hope in Cricket - BCB President.
Hello, sports-loving Steemians. How are you? Bangladesh Cricket is now on a tour to Sri Lanka for a Test, ODI, and T20I series. The Test series went to the host side as they won the 2-match series by 1-0. They also won the ODI series by 2-1. The current condition of the Bangladesh cricket team is not in good position. However, I am still hopeful about the future of Bangladesh cricket for the first time since 2013.

Aminul Islam Bulbul, the President of BCB, a former national team Captain, is among those who scored a Century in his and his country's debut matches. After the resignation of Nazmul Hasan Papon after the dramatic Fall of Sheikh Hasina, another former cricketer, Faruque Hossain, took charge of the BCB. A few days ago, a few directors of BCB expressed distrust towards him. As a result, he left away from his position.
After all this happened, Aminul Islam Bulbul was invited to be the President of BCB. He loves cricket, he loves Bangladesh, and he accepted that. The man who worked in Afghanistan to develop their cricket for a project of the ICC has now come to fix Bangladesh. The world is witnessing the rise of Afghanistan. The man behind this now will work for his own country.
The first few steps he took were amazing. He traveled all over Bangladesh to decentralize cricket from Dhaka. Started a talent hunt and got some talents. Brings professionalism to the board, which was missing since it was established. He avoids the media, focusing on work. Specially developing the route. All he knows is, if he can develop the route, the entire system will be changed automatically. But the main challenge will be encountering the corruption happening for a decade here and nonprofessional reporters who are always trying to dispute anything that goes against their interests.
I love his philosophy. That is why I trust this man and his process. But I am afraid that the reporters can turn against him and will incite the audience against him, which they always do. The peoples who was done corruption in BCB can turn against him. Whatever will happen, I will always remain in this mans' side.
Throughout the ICC Trophy, I thought there was great optimism that Bangladesh Cricket was heading in a good direction. This appointment sounds positive so I hope that your optimism is rewarded.
There was a bunch of success. But not a real improvement. But if Bulbul stays few years, real development will happen.
