Alone in a huge world

People often claims to take care of you when your dear one pass away especially parents..most relatives are used to this song of crying with you when such situation arises...in south africa they claim to do so but still let you suffer alone..this is my story..i have this friend she lived with her mom,dad,grandmom and her brother..sadly her mom passed away before she was even 3 years old the dad moved on within a year ...it was hard but she never felt the need of a mother with her grandmom by her side .life couldn't get any worse she lost her only brother by the age of 10 .just 5 years later her grandmom also passed away ..waht pain she was in she was forced to move in with her aunt since she cannot stay alone well life couldn't get any worse as the aunt mistreated her ...she made her look after her grandkids while she was at work well my friend was forced to quit school..unable to take it she requested the aunt to send her to her father..neither did she know that that wasn't going to be her big break...her father usually spent most of his time at work and the step mom was worse than a nightmare...she did all sorts of crazy things..that's right such stepmoms don't exist in fairytales only yep they do exist in reality...back to the story....the step mom would punish her for almost anything , beat her blue and black but she was brave enough to tolerate it and never complained to anyone since her relatives ditched her..during december holidays she came back to our village the same village that took all her loved ones she was wondering the streets with her big bag since her other aunt locked the gate and refused her to go inside ....she had instructed her neighbour to do so since she was away...as predicted night fall still with nowhere to go she came to my home..mom let her stay through the night but she knew that something had to be done...the next day mom went to the village head along with my friend to seak a solution...it was hell for her her relatives weren't ready to let her in and neither did she want to go back to either of them ....finally the police and social workers were contacted the matter was solved as the gate was unlocked as of now she stays alone with an allowance from her father and the social grant ...it's not such a great ending but she got her break and she's happy with the results
