RE: The Sting! (Or how I witnessed a planned shoplifting incident.)

That was quite an experience! I wonder why that man was so sure that you wouldn't say anything? He's taking quite a risk. I think he would go back for more and he'll be caught next time!

Here I often have to tell people to queue up! Some people just ignore people queuing and just cut in. Most people don't want to have an arguement so they let that happen very often. If I happen to be there, I would certainly make noises and tell that person to wait at the end of the line. So far, I haven't seen anyone react as I did.

I think in your situation, it can be quite dangerous! People can react in violent manner when feeling threatened by danger.
Take care.
Cheers.

It is so sad that is how the child is being raised. And once they are used to stealing, it feels to them like it is a right.

I had a group of shoplifters in my shop. I noticed that every time I didn't watch these women all the time, I would find empty clothing hangers. This went on for a while and I decided to just tell them they were not allowed back in the shop, even though I hadn't caught them.

They were outraged and took 20 minutes to actually leave. My shoplifting problem has been much improved since then.

Well done for being decisive with those shoplifters! @onetree.
Yes, those children will forever be spoiled by the adults. Very few will think for themselves or question their own conditioning. The drive for survival is very strong in human beings and animals alike.
I still have to keep watching my own mind!

Cheers.

I completely agree.
