Jeepney Ride Fare Hike Will Surely Raise The Price Of Other Commodities Here In My Country

Money is getting worthless day by day.
An essential part of public transportation here in my country was the Jeepney, a post world war 2 vehicle that came from the American Jeeps or GPs (General purpose) left by American military and then used by the locals to come-up will a spruced-up passenger Jeep which now evolved into a bigger and longer types that carries anywhere based on location, people and goods.
When I was in high school up to college the fare was only one peso up to 1.50, still that fare was expensive for me because my allowance everyday is only 20 pesos, you can buy a cup of rice for 3.50 pesos and a matching viand for 5 pesos. The tricycle ride fare back then was only 1 pesos and after the rate hike of 2 pesos it was a shocking thing to happen in the 90's for me, it was so expensive back then.
Now the fare in Jeepney rides for a minimum distance of 4 Kilometers is 10 Philippine pesos and with that amount you can already feel that your money is getting worthless. It is now more expensive to buy things and I know due to this Jeepney transportation fare hike the other commodities will surely go up as well citing the reason that transportation fare had gone up.

So in effect what the Jeepney drivers would earn extra even though they are already implementing the 10 pesos fare price even before this official statement by the government, they will use it to pay for the hike of other commodities that will surely follow and I am afraid that the salt bread we buy in the morning will either double or get lighter.
I already resigned to the fact that I can never easily buy fruits which are like gold in value these days and the fact that the price hikes seems to not abate for at least until the war in Europe resolves, these price hikes will continue. I am also expecting fuel prices to go even more high because right now diesel is hovering around $1.4 per Liter or $5.4 a Gallon, if it hits $2 per liter then expect a great tribulation when buying your daily necessities.

I do think that the great tribulation will no be easy.
