The Price of Freedom by Kounter Kulture
Freedom has a price, because freedom is a vice
And here I am believing that freedom was part of life
If for freedom we must fight, then freedom is not a right
And with the way the world is going, I see no freedom in sight
It seems so black and white, that I've stopped looking for the gray
In the darkness of the night, I stopped looking for the day
I stopped knowing what to say, I stopped learning how to play
I stopped thinking it's okay, I stopped looking for the way
Not believing I could pray, I turned my back on the divine
Took another sip of wine, and said that it'll all be fine
Still I have no piece of mind, because life has no rewind
Now I'm caught up in a bind, and the exit I can't find
Doesn't matter if you're blind, take it from me, nothing to see
Freedom has a price because freedom is not free
And even if it were up to me, there is no where that I can flee
For there is no where that you can hide from the powers that will always be
