Behavioral psychology....and Marxism...

in #blog7 years ago

Growing up in a world of sociopaths - manipulators - (my family and extended family), I learned at a very early age that nothing is free, and expressions of generosity, and actual generosity, are not always the same thing.
Seldom so, in fact.
(and appearances to others, are of upmost importance in the manipulator's mind - even if unconsciously).

'Generosity' from the manipulator comes in many guises - but all are with the aim of control.
Control of behavior, and by extension, control of thought.

....And so to the 'behavioral sciences and Marxism....

If you wish to know more on the so called 'science' of behavioral psychology (I use this term very loosely)....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Applied_behavior_analysis.

I recommend that everyone understand the philosophy behind it, and how it is used daily in our lives.

It's a quasi intellectual theory, that all people can be anything. (yes, seriously. See Thorndike and the 'laws of effect'.)
It's one the foundational postmodernist truths - anyone can be anything.
Total bullshit of course.

While it can have some useful applications, this kind of knowledge is the fertile ground for the intelligent manipulator to bend people to their will, and thus is very dangerous to those not savvy to the methods implemented upon them.

What you might think is a free will choice, may well be the result of someone offering you choices based on psychological knowledge of human behavioral patterns, and applying them to you, without your knowledge.

It is the tools of the advertisers, the politician, the motivational speakers, the religious zealot.

They know, that by soliciting an emotional response from you - (one that has been instigated by their own actions), you then becomes more malleable, and thus easier to persuade.
Under their zone of influence.
It's all about control.

Behavioral sciences and Marxism gel together very well - and it is no coincidence that the 'fathers' of this pseudo science came from Harvard and Columbia, and just at the same time as Marxist poison doctrines were being looked at, and implemented.

By understanding what behavioral sciences are, you become more resistant to people using them to manipulate you.

The downside of that of this, will be that because you are not bending to their will_, you will possibly also feel their wrath. NOT CONTROLLING others, drives them crazy crazier...

I've seen so called intelligible adult's become petulant screaming children in these circumstances...rage filled and throwing tantrums like no tomorrow!
Their lack of self control is exposed, their underlying rage of feeling impotent is openly seen.
The (overwhelmingly) leftist desire for control is nothing more than their deep inner feelings of total impotence and lack of self worth, which is then projected out onto others).

ON a day to to day basis, have you known people that give you things, but you know deep down, that they aren't really giving you anything?
You know that their 'generosity' will be used against you, if a situation ever comes up where they can leverage it ?
I think most people have come across this type of person at some point in their lives...
'You're SO ungrateful' ,
'After all that I've done for you'
etc etc...

It's only then that you see that so called generosity, wasn't generosity at all - it was about control through invoking
a negative emotional response.
A negative response ONLY MADE possible through their own actions, and not one that you created.

They try to structure a future in which they have leverage over you.

I have seen these patterns of manipulation on both a conscious, and unconscious level.
From my experience, the more intelligent of the manipulator, the more conscious the decision , to implement these strategies...

Freedom or free will - in Marxist psychology indicates that our liberty to choose the type of society will determine our behavior;
It does not mean we choose our own behavior.
Thus, when we are not exercising our free will to choose our society, we are being controlled by our situation or environment.

Marxists hold society responsible to regulate our behavior

...and Marxists deign themselves to be god, the the ones responsible for making the society.

Without applying the quasi intellectual, quasi scientific behavioral sciences, this in not possible.
Control of others.... at all costs.

This regulation (using the behavioral sciences philosophy), exposes us to the 'proper stimuli that will elicit the proper behavior'.

Communist societies thattry to regulate us, to be faithful to the collective (and to internationalism).

In this context, freedom means nothing to the marxist.

A society that scientifically regulates human development , is essentially George Orwell's '1984'.

In Marxist psychology, we are merely evolving animals that need fine-tuning before entering the perfection of the coming world order—an order where all humanity will be perfected.

....enter the behavioral 'sciences'...

Watson's classic paper, "Psychology as the Behaviorist Views It." It is best summed up by the following quote from Watson, who is often considered the "father" of behaviorism:
"Give me a dozen healthy infants, well-formed, and my own specified world to bring them up in and I'll guarantee to take any one at random and train him to become any type of specialist I might select—doctor, lawyer, artist, merchant-chief and, yes, even beggar-man and thief, regardless of his talents, penchants, tendencies, abilities, vocations, and race of his ancestors."

Postmodernism, anyone...?

Generosity and control can appear identical, but are not the same.
Learn to understand the difference.
Be free.

As a proponent of the free market, I'm a great believer in freedom of association, and contracts.
Enter into an agreement voluntarily, between to consenting individuals, and that is the contract.
And that is to honored.
That is integrity.

Anything else...? Is something else...

The appearance of generosity, but with motivations other than being generous, are nothing to do with freedom.
Quite the opposite.

I've noticed over the years, that this dynamic (seen in my family) of 'the appearance of generosity', - as opposed to real generosity - unequivocally comes from the individual of the political left, and the Marxist mentality.
The manipulator.
Anyone who supports the principal of a worldwide basic income, for example - likes the appeal of controlling people.
The massive ego shines through - because they always know best..
Stalin, anyone?

Universal basic income?

....is no gift...

it's the ability to control others through 'generosity'.

It's Marxism.

It is communism.

Don't be fooled by those bearing gifts....
