Interesting life of Cambodian people in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
It’s great to see the ways of life of the Cambodian people and their culture via their buildings, their sculptures, their foods, etc.
It seems to me that these things in Cambodia are similar to Thailand, especially “Wai” which is a warm welcome gesture or the way we say hello to each other.
The first sculpture in the first photo is situated at the Cambodian airport and it’s my sister’s first impression as well.
The below sign is also at the airport advising visitors to pick up free Traveller Sim.
We have a lot of Cambodian people in Thailand. So, it seems like we all are friends.
Apart from culture, some foods and street foods in both Cambodia and Thai look alike…
The Central Market is one of the interesting places where you can see the ways of Cambodian people daily life. It’s very huge and its curved dome shape looks outstanding from a far distance.
There are a lot of shops with various kinds of products; i.e. home appliances, clothing, food, flowers, fresh foods, jewelries, etc. So, this market can attract many tourists (including my sister) to visit there.
I think many people like walking along a river, including me. It would certainly be a relaxing time while admiring the river and watching people and nature around.
Even these pigeons enjoy their lives beside the river as well.
The below vehicle in Phnom Penh resembles the well-known “Tuk Tuk” of Thailand.
Ah! Really amazing!
As you can see, walking in Phnom Penh may make you feel like you are staying in Thailand…
That’s all for the photos of Phnom Penh from my sister’s trip…
Hope you enjoy it!
