Further to my previous post, one of the popular activities for people who visit Bang Pu is feeding these seagulls.

It seems that “pork rind” is one of their most favorite foods which you can buy from the sellers nearby you on the Sukta Bridge.

The prices are up to the packages; i.e. small bag or large plate, etc. Nevertheless, they are all quite cheap. (10 Baht/small bag, 50 Baht/plate)

If you stand there holding a large plate of pork rinds, many seagulls will fly straight to you, hover and hover. It’s really exciting experience.

There are two fun ways in feeding these seagulls.

If you want to take beautiful pictures, it’s recommended to hold the pork rind in one of your hands and strengthen your hand forward. After a while, these seagulls will hover to take the pork rind out of your hand.

Or another way is to throw the pork rind into the air. The seagull will easily hover and grab the pork rinds in the air.

It's very amazing how they can do that....

Apart from those seagulls that swoop around and create excitement for us, there is another group of seagulls who were landing in the mud. (the sea with low tide)

You can also feed them by throwing the pork rinds to the mud as well.

It’s great to see a lot of seagulls hovering around and sometimes flocks of them fly together in beautiful lines.

In addition, the sunset over the Gulf of Thailand at Bang Pu is another reason that attracts people to visit there.

The scenery is spectacular and the atmosphere is really nice and cool. It’s a warm and romantic moment…

(unfortunately, the day I visited, the sky was cloudy, that’s why the sun could not be seen, only its gorgeous colors appeared on the horizon…)

You will certainly find people at all ages around you smiling and laughing with happiness…. And you will come back home with an impressive experience, for sure.
