US gains control of TikTok's US operations

Reuters reported that a senior White House official said on Saturday that China and the United States have reached an agreement on TikTok's U.S. operations. The board of directors for TikTok's U.S. operations will consist of seven directors, with ByteDance holding only one seat and the remaining six being held by Americans.

This also means that the protracted battle over the ownership of TikTok's U.S. operations has concluded with Americans gaining control.
