Using 10 Tools for One Task? I’ve Had Enough
Creating content isn’t hard.
Managing it is what burns you out.
I’ve been making content for a few years now. I’m not a video powerhouse, nor am I just getting started. I fall somewhere in between — a steady solo creator trying to build something meaningful.
And like many creators, I fell into the trap of building a “perfect tech stack.”
I picked the best tool for writing, the most flexible for scheduling, the sleekest for video, and so on. On paper, it made sense. In practice?
It was a mess.
My content routine looked like this:
- Writing scripts in Notion
- Designing thumbnails in Canva
- Editing videos in CapCut
- Using Buffer or Hootsuite to schedule posts
- Jumping between ChatGPT, Pictory, Descript, and others for everything in between
Each tool was great in its own lane. But they didn’t talk to each other. My writing app didn’t know what my last video was about. My video tool didn’t care what I just posted. I was connecting all the dots manually, every time.
And honestly? I started dreading the process — not because I didn’t love creating, but because I was wasting hours juggling tools instead of focusing on the actual content.
What changed?
I wasn’t looking for a new tool.
I was looking for peace of mind.
I stumbled across Simplified while trying (yet again) to streamline my process. At first, I rolled my eyes at the “all-in-one” promise — most tools that claim that are average at everything and good at nothing.
But Simplified surprised me.
It didn’t just offer multiple tools.
It orchestrated them.
Here’s what a full content session looks like for me now:
- I draft my posts directly inside Simplified, choosing tone, length, and audience.
- I turn them into designs or short-form videos with just a few clicks — no need to jump between Canva and CapCut.
- I schedule everything without leaving the platform.
- And the best part? My assets are connected. No more wasting time uploading, re-downloading, converting formats, or syncing across platforms.
It’s not about being “AI-powered” or “trendy.”
It’s about removing friction.
Simplified isn’t perfect — but it made my process whole again.
The biggest shift for me wasn’t in productivity.
It was in mentality.
I stopped obsessing over “finding the best tool”
and started focusing on telling better stories.
I stopped feeling like a one-person agency
and started feeling like a creator again.
That’s something no single feature list can offer.
✅ In summary
Being a creator in 2025 doesn’t mean you need the most tools.
It means you need fewer walls between ideas and execution.
Simplified didn’t just save me time — it gave me back mental space.
And in this era of content chaos, that’s what I needed most.
