My First Tottenham Away Day

Having been a Spurs supporter for over 20 years I still havent been to a competitive away game.

I got an email last week saying that there were still tickets for todays not so glamourous FA cup tie against Rochdale.

All for new experiences I thought I would apply. Probably due to the game being such a long distance away, being on a Sunday and televised.

I was this close to not being able to go as I forgot to change my address from the ex marital home. Normally Id expect the ex to be difficult but give her her dues, she answered my late text, found my ticket and stuck them to the bin outside for me to pick up at 0530hrs this morning.

So its now 0748 and Im waiting for the supporters coach for a 5 hour drive to the game.

Its the event Ive looked forward to the most in recent times so really happy.
