When I was 20 years old, I drove cross country from Virginia to California. I bought the car (1981 Chevy Malibu) for $425 a few days before I left. The night I left Virginia, I hit a bump and the headlights went out. For the rest of the evening I had two options, either parking lights (one white, one yellow) or headlights (one up, one down). When I made it into Tennessee, I hit another bump and the headlights came back on. They continued to go off intermittently throughout the trip. That was one of many car problems I faced on that adventure. I'll save the others for later, they may apply to other koans. :D
When I was 20 years old, the longest I've ever driven was from my home in the province to the city. I couldn't imagine what it must've been like to drive cross country, considering my whole country is significantly smaller than Texas haha!
That's such an awesome story with the headlights!! Haha! What a great coincidence! One would think it was lifted directly from fiction haha! It's like when the remote control isn't working and you bump it to rejuvenate it haha!
Great, great, great! Thanks for sharing your story, my friend! :D
That's amazing. Now I've got to go find out how big the Philippines are. Driving through Texas and making repairs were the longest parts of that trip. It was definitely a loose connection like with the remote control. If I'd figured it out sooner, I like to think I would have aimed for the potholes until it came on. LOL
Glad you enjoyed it.
Haha! That would've been awesome if you arrive at the realization earlier! Would've been weird for other cars to see it unfold haha!
That would have been helpful. Oh, man. Can you imagine what that would have looked like? lol!!
Haha! I imagine it's like an insane person purposefully headbutting a wall to regain his sanity hahaha!
