RE: Best way to translate a large PDF file
I’ve been in the same situation and ended up using https://pdft.ai/translate-large-pdf/. It accepts files up to 100 MB, which covers most large manuals, and supports multiple formats. The translation quality is good, especially for technical terms, and it preserves tables and diagrams quite well. You just upload, pick languages, and in a few minutes you get a translated file ready to use. I liked that I didn’t have to split my document or adjust formatting afterwards.
That’s reassuring, especially about keeping tables and diagrams intact. I’ve had headaches reformatting after other tools. Will test it on my manual and see if it keeps everything clean.
