Japan | Hello Mount Fuji (one)
The deepest impression of this trip was a heavy snowfall in Lake Kawaguchi, so start here. It is not far from Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi, and the transportation is extremely convenient. It only takes two hours to get away from the bustling metropolis. It was already night when I arrived at Kawaguchiko. I had already booked the FUFU Kawaguchiko in Shinsui, a hot spring hotel with only 32 rooms, and each room faces Mount Fuji. Standing on the balcony of the room, the lights on the bank of Kawaguchiko Lake were bright, and Mt. Fuji drew a silhouette in the dark night, and a hat cloud on the top of the mountain indicated that the weather would change.
Lake FUFU Kawaguchiko is in the woods beside the lake, surrounded by forests, quiet and convenient. The interior of the hotel is dominated by the color of the original wood. There are lush green plants everywhere. In the room and on the balcony, the breath of the forest outside the window extends into the house.
The bathroom is also the same color, simple and refreshing, after bathing in the hotel shower gel will leave a natural fresh taste, this taste is FUFU Kawaguchiko original Green Wood.
It was too late when I arrived at the hotel. I had to cancel the Kaiseki dinner. I had room service to order. A portion of tempura rice and a portion of beef rice made our hungry stomachs perfect this evening.
Overnight, the weather really changed, and in April, Kawaguchiko was even snowing. It was this snow that turned the forest outside the window into an ink painting.
Of course, FUFU will not waste any scenery outside the window. All the seats in the restaurant are facing the window. The large area of glass eliminates the line that cuts the line of sight, so that the natural scenery outside the window is integrated with the interior.
The Japanese breakfast is served in a vessel based on Fuji Five Lakes, and the chef uses a variety of seasonal vegetables to transform the rich flavor.
Fuji lava water in the room is most suitable for making tea. It has the flavor of Mount Fuji.
The slowly scattered light seemed to be in the forest, without boundaries.
The snow was getting smaller, borrowed the hotel's umbrella, and walked to the lake. The cherry blossoms on the south bank of Lake Kawaguchi just opened, and the seemingly weak petals did not fall after heavy snowfall.
Locals say that the wonders of snow and cherry blossoms can only be seen for several years.
In this scene of snow, a fairyland-like Kawaguchiko came out. The mist lingered in the mountains. The snow fell on the roof and fell to the ground, pure white.
Kawaguchiko is silent at night. I like the intersection of the dim lights in the house and the blue night outside the window in the evening. I like to be trapped in the sofa in the hotel lobby and enjoy the quietness of the light.
The FUFU Kawaguchiko bar is not noisy. The piles of wood exude natural fragrance. When I was still, I realized that the smell of the original wood was so charming that it felt very relaxing.
After staying at Japanese hot spring hotels several times, I always look forward to the hotel's cuisine. The dinner at FUFU Kawaguchiko is a creative kaiseki cuisine, using many local ingredients and seasonal mountain dishes from Yamanashi Prefecture.
The fish sashimi includes not only tuna sashimi, but also horse sashimi, which is a specialty of Yamanashi Prefecture. Horse sashimi is also known as "cherry meat". Hot horse meat has a strange smell, but raw food has a tender taste and is not fishy.
Dinner ends with a sweet cherry jelly. Nothing else has been asked, I just want to see Mount Fuji outside the window.
The moment I opened the curtains in the morning, I didn't feel screaming. Under the blue sky and sunlight, Mount Fuji covered with white snow occupied the C position outside the window. It was amazing! The sky was clear after the snow was clear. The snowfall the previous day made the snowy top of Mt. Fuji even more pure and flawless. I think this is probably the best wake-up service. Throughout the day, my sight was no longer difficult to leave from Mount Fuji.
The snow came in April and went fast. There was only a trace left by the lake. The clear lake reflected the blue sky.
Pink cherry blossoms, white snow, red torii, blue sky, make up an unforgettable picture.
Finally, let's end the trip to Lake Kawaguchi with a classic angle photo of Shinkura Fuji Asama Shrine. The faintly open cherry blossoms under Mount Fuji and the shallowly asleep Mount Fuji under the cherry blossoms are the most romantic memories of this spring.
