RE: Tham Nam Lod Cave, Phusang Waterfall and temples - Chiang Rai, Thailand
This looks like a very long but exciting day. I totally understand your exhaustion and need for a massage and also your friends sleeping in the car.
Eric seems to be a climber, lol :D First climbing on the tree and then over the railing. He has an adventurous spirit :)
It's a pity you couldn't swim in that hot spring. Well, it was warm outside so probably it wouldn't be that enjoyable but still nice :) I've never heard of a warm waterfall though. It sounds very special to me.
It's nice that you can take clothes for free if you want to enter the temple. Renting of buying clothes doesn't make sense as you really need them for the time when you're there..
Have you figured out how it happened that you went to the wrong cave? I mean, I know that you found out that it was the wrong one but how come that you didn't realize when you were planning it?
Thank you for sharing this great adventure with us! It was a lot of fun to read your story :)
Have a great Sunday!
Yes Erik is a climber and very adventurous. He enjoys it so much.
That is true, I think this is the first warm waterfall I’ve seen. I think it’s very unique.
Yea, we didn’t plan the cave in advance. We went to Phu Chi Fa and we knew we would go through the the National Park. There was a tourist information centre at the waterfall. We went there and saw the name of the cave, we googled it and were amazed. But we didn’t realise that the cave on google was in Pai. They both have the same name. I don’t really plan my trips. I enjoy just going with the flow and see what I find along the way.
Thank you for reading! Happy Lunar New Year!
