Trip in Tbilisi
Tbilisi is capital of small picturesque hospitable country - Georgia ..
The second country after Ukraine which I love so much is Georgia . I spent here much time when I was a child with my parent . I adore Georgia nature , people , food , churches , cultures , dancings ...
After arrogant Emirates I felt in Georgia that I am at home ❤️🤩💜
The most emotional place in Tbilisi for me is the bridge of 100 000 martyres over the river Kura and church Metehi near it .
It situated in the old part of Tbilisi and in far 13 century it was entrance in the city . When in 1227 Persian sultan Djalal-Ed-Din occupied Georgia he ordered to put down on the bridge icons of Jesus and other holiness things from orthodox Christians churches of Georgia and told to citizenships that everybody who would walk by foot upon the holinesses and adopt Islam he would leave alive . 100 000 men didn’t cross the bridge and didn’t betrayl Christianity and all of them till the last one were killed for thier faith . The water of Kura was red from blood .
Nowdays every year 13th of November people celebrate this date and honor memory of the martyres .

Interesting read! It's a very nice thing that their sacrifice is still remembered. Also, Tbilisi looks like a beautiful town, I would like to visit it one day (and Georgia in general, for its amazing nature and mountains).
