Day 2 in Belgium (Antwerp)
The second day we travelled to the diamond capital of the world known as Antwerp!
Again full of beautiful architecture and a magnificent city hall based amongst the Grote market which is full of authentic food.
The city is full of tram lines allowing people to commute around and here we managed to hop onto one of the touristic trams which takes you around the famous spots in the city including the port of Antwerp which is known as one of the biggest ports in the world with it being second biggest within Europe itself. The city is full of beautiful cathedrals and monuments which means the camera never got put away here!
Unfortunately the weather was not as warm and sunny as we hoped however, we could not complain as there was no rain which meant we could still easily go around and explore the beauty of this city. The centre of the city is full of markets and stalls covered with crafts and novelty items to be sold. It could easily take an entire day if you were to go around seeing each stall!
