The Summit of Jay Peak

Over the weekend, I trekked up to Jay, Vermont to take my first shreds of the season at Jay Peak. I took this photo when I got off of the tram at the summit of the mountain. The sky was clearing up and the sun was in a mid-morning range. When I arrive at the summit I usually like to take a few minutes to admire the breathtaking views. The board you see in the picture lists all of the trails you can choose from this point on the mountain. The blue marked trails are for intermediate level skiers and the black marked trails are for experts. There is nothing too easy at this point...

Unfortunately the right side was closed off, so I had to go left. On this run I think I took the Vermonter over to the Stateside.

They are in serious need of some snow storms up there!
