Dear Steemit friends,
Last time I shew you places close to the city and Amsterdam Central station. Today I will showing you About museum. There are lots of famous museums in Amsterdam. Actually I'm not fan of the museum. So I just visit a few museums.
- Rijksmuseum
The Rijksmuseum is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. The museum is located at the Museum Square in the borough Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the Concertgebouw.
Don't for get to take a picture with I am Amsterdam if you visit Amsterdam. It's outside of the Rijksmuseum.
Oh my god! There are many tourists. Can you see me? haha
- The Van Gogh Museum maintains the world’s largest collection of the works of the world’s most popular
artist - Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890), his paintings, drawings and letters, completed with the art of his contemporaries. Each year, 1.6 million visitors come to the Van Gogh Museum.
3.Anne Frank House
Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who has to go into hiding during World War Two to escape from the Nazis. Together with seven others she hides in the secret annex at Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. After more than two years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps. Anne’s father, Otto Frank, is the only one of the eight people to survive. After her death Anne becomes world famous because of the diary she wrote while in hiding.
4.The National Maritime Museum
Het Scheepvaartmuseum, the National Maritime Museum, shows how the Dutch culture has been shaped by the sea. Stimulating, interactive exhibits allow everyone to explore 500 years of maritime history.
