RE: Out And About In Acapulco Mexico, Land of Anarcapulco
When you mention the anxiety and sadness about leaving, do you wish to STAY in Acapulco? Maybe get a job if your money is running low, and keep the dream alive a bit longer? Or do you wish to see another part of Mexico?
I really applaud you and Marc for what you are doing! I imagine it takes a lot of courage to leave the familiarity of one's homeland for such a long time period, but your adventures seem so exciting! 😊
Hello @thekittygirl. We do wish to stay. We love our place but getting a job here is not an option. There is nothing for us foreigners. Besides it's what we want to get away from not through laziness but to have a life of freedom where we can do something creative. We are procrastinators. We are running out of money, which is only steem dollars but hoping for a spike in bitcoin by the time we need to leave. Living on the edge is natural for us. I guess somehow things have always worked out. It's just that we don't have the certainty right now.
Thank you for everything!
I just had an image flash into my head of you & Marc operating a little food cart near the beach, offering people some of your yummy-looking vegan options! Dunno why that came to me just now... LOL
That is crazy because that is exactly what we talked about before we got to Mexico. The vegan food cart near the beach! You are amazing.
We have found out since then that there is no market for vegan food on the beach right now. There is hope though.
