RE: Travel Throwback | Thailand, Part 1 | Vibrant Yogini
Yes I have always liked an adventure and I do like to live life on the edge I suppose! I have made a lot of decisions in my life which many people probably would not have :) My life is a bit of a rollercoaster.
Haha as for the Thai guy, it may be that, or he was just a nice guy wanting to help a foreign Westerner not get killed on the roads haha! :)
Thanks for such a kind and lovely comment :)
I came back last October after my work in Hong Kong finished. I didn't choose this, I was planning on going to India, but I hadn't been home for 2 years and so it's been good to spend time with my loved ones. I decided to take a year out and see if I can grow my business online. Then in October this year (mainly after my best friends wedding which I am a bridesmaid for), I will look at leaving the UK as I can't deal with another winter. However, I have learnt in life that you can't always have a solid plan, so we shall see closer to the time how life is etc! Plans always change!
Rollercoasters are exciting at least.
Probably just a nice Thai guy, imin thinking like an American.
You are very welcome.
It makes sense why you may need to come home. 2 years is a long time. I’m sure your best friends wedding is very important to both of you.
It’s the same for me with winter. It changes who I am in the worst of ways. It’s snowing back home now, I honestly dread going back so much. I’ve never lived anywhere but there long-term. I really want that to change soon.
Never be afraid to leave, it's not always forever, and if things don't work out you can always go back 'home.' So many people do it. It's those who haven't that always find it the hardest. But with anything, when you get over the first experience, it always gets easier and the world feels way more connected :) Travel while you are young and have no kids etc! :)
You just smacked me in the face with some cold hard truth. Thank you for that.
Luckily no kids yet.
