RE: The Untold Stories Of Jalsu Mountain Pass

in #travelfeed6 years ago

Hai, Another good blog from another wonderful location, Are you amountain specialist? These are some of the places that many people think about only dreaming too. This Mani Mahesh Kailash you mentioned is anything related to Kailas Manassarovar trekking? If so, it was unknown to the that it is visible from Baijyanath.

This place is in Dharmasala, right? Bir Billing... Did you gone for paragliding?

Like other posts, this too looks great with some amazing Photographs...

Namaste @angelro
I am not a mountain specialist but yeah certified mountaineer with "A" grade. I have been the part of Himalayas since 2009 and since then I am roaming here.
There are 5 Kailash mentioned in Shiv puran, Manimahesh kailash is one of them. It is also know as Chamba Kailash. I have been visited three of them so far. Kailash Mansarovar is superior among five kailash and it is also winter stay of Hindu Lord Shiva.
No, it can't be seen from Baijnath temple. From Baijnath you can only see Dhauladhar mountain range.
Bir-Billing comes under Kangra district of Himachal pradesh. Although Dharamshala is administrative office of Kangra.
Paragliding, yeah I did couple of time. I have lived in Bir almost for 3 years and who doesn't want to fly, that too when it is world best paragliding site.
Thanks for visiting sir, have a great day.

Did you really read or well versed with Lord Shiva's stories, I was not aware about that there 5 Kailas' mentioned, I read a detailed travel story sometime back.

Wherever you go in mountains specially in India you will get to know more about the religion and Shiva. I have ready many books about Shiva. It is belived that there are 11 dimensions and still we have knowledge about only 3. Still lot to explore.
I have already many states of India when I did Delhi-Kanyakumari cycling.
Thanks again.
