RE: Faith and pony whispering

in #travelfeed6 years ago

What a cool thing to have wild horses that will come up and say hello! And I'm very glad to hear that the brumbies are still around, even if they are a little pesky. There's something almost mythological to me about wild horses.

Dartmoor is a pretty special place I think and so different than anything here in Australia. We found so many amazing places in England and lived how close they were to each other.

Still, Australia has its own amazing places and I've been to many.

England fits into the area of Australia about 58 times apparently so it's attractions are obviously not as spread out as ours are. The vastness, remoteness and ruggedness of Australia makes it difficult to reach all of the amazing places in a reasonable timeframe for overseas visitors but in England everything seemed so close!

We loved Dartmoor, seeing the pony's and feeling the oldness of the area. Worth a visit or two for sure, especially for a horse whisperer like my wife.
