Ansarul Islam Secondary School was founded in 1971 by the late Sheikh Muhammed Kamaldeen, the first Mufti of Ilorin Emirate. This school has produced a good number of students, most of whom are excelling in their academic careers. The founder also established Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, the first of its kind in Northern Nigeria.
