"SLC-S25/W5 | Biscuit Pudding"
Greetings friends and welcome to my blog again. Today I am here to participate in this weeks challenge on dessert. It’s been interesting weeks of learning. Thanks to @m-fdo these great lessons. Find below my assignment.

Today I prepared the recipe taught in the class and the ingredients I used are:

- Biscuits 200g
- Sugar 70 g
- Butter 50 g
- Vanilla 1 tsp
- Cocoa Powder 25 g
- Milk Powder 3 tsp
- Water 100ml
- Chocolate 50g
- Cashew nuts
Below are the step by step procedure:
Step 1: I took a clean bowl and broke the biscuits into pieces inside the bowl. | ![]() |

Step 2: I then took a clean pot and placed it on a stove and added all the dry ingredients like the milk, chocolate, sugar into the pot. | ![]() |

Step 3: I added water into the pot and mix all together and allowed it to boil. | ![]() |

Step 4: I added vanilla and butter to the mixture and stirred well.

Step 5: I allowed the mixture to cool down very well and then I added the biscuits into it small by small until it became a sticky mixture.

Step 6: I pressed it put it into another bowl and pressed it down and then refrigerated it for ten minutes. | ![]() |

Step 7: I put my chocolate into a bowl and double boiled it until it was throughly dissolved. | ![]() |

Step 8: I went ahead to spread the chocolate smoothly over the biscuits until it was totally covered. | ![]() |

Step 9: I also proceeded to decorate it with cashew nuts pieces and my biscuit pudding was ready to be eaten. It was very delicious.

Biscuit pudding is a very delicious dessert to make and I totally enjoyed every bit of it. From the process of making it to the last. It was my first time making it and I didn’t find anything difficult because of the simple steps that the teacher described with the making. So it was easy to replicate.
I enjoyed eating it too and it was very nice. A great dessert that someone can munch on when craving something nice. The aspect that I like most was the fact that it was coated with chocolate. I love chocolates a lot and anything with chocolate is a go for me. So I enjoyed snacking on it.
Explain the specialty of Biscuit Pudding.
Biscuit pudding is a popular dessert in my country and some other places around the world. It specialty is in:
- Its unique texture makes it delightful and also because of the crushed biscuits with the creamy pudding.
- It is very easy to make and the ingredients are readily available.
- It can be customized to any flavour the maker wants and therefore makes for having different varieties.
- It can be used in different kinds of gathering as it is a sweet dessert and can also be used to give someone a treat. It’s known as a comforting dessert. It can be served at parties, family gatherings and also at home.
