This is a portrait of my dear friend Gab, taken on a golden summer day in Saint-Colomban, Québec.
The light was unreal, soft, glowing, almost like there were two suns in the sky.
We didn’t plan anything, it just happened in the moment.
She turned, the light hit just right, and I clicked.

Shot with my faithful Nikon D40 and a broken yet truly fantastic 50mm manual lens.
The kind of gear that makes you slow down, breathe, and feel every frame.
No AI, no filters, just a beautiful day and a peaceful moment.
