Donjjang Unlimited Korean Barbeque

If Manila has its Chinatown, then guess what? Here in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, we’ve got our own version, welcome to “Little Korea”! From Korean restaurants on every corner to K-pop vibes in cafés, it’s like a slice of Seoul right here in Cebu City, Philippines. Here you can see Koreans freely walking like locals, riding jeepneys, eating street food, and talking to our fellows. They are all welcome in our place. Some of them are married to a Filipina and are settling in the Philippines. Some are also here for business. It's a good thing that they trust our place, as they help boost our economy, especially when they establish businesses and hire Filipino workers.
One of the spots they’ve set up here is a Korean restaurant. And it’s not just Koreans who are loving it. Even locals keep coming back for more. We are also curious about how their food taste without even going to Korea.

If you own a car, you'll be pleased to know that they had a wide and spacious area for your vehicle. Eventhough this parking lot is shared with other establishments, there are still plenty of spaces for everyone. You dont get stressed in finding a spot. This parking lot is well arranged, so you can park easily. Also, there are guards on duty to ensure that your car is being watched while staying in the vicinity. This added security will surely give you peace of mind while you are dining.

One of our favorite Korean restaurants is Donjjang Unlimited Korean Barbeque. Besides the unlimited barbecue, this restaurant also offers an “eat all you can” buffet of Korean food like bibimbap, kimchi, and many others. Just that for now, as I’m not too familiar with the names of these Korean dishes. And of course, Filipino food is also present. If you are not a fan of Korean dishes, you can go for lechon kawali, fried chicken, and the dynamite ( green chili covered with a wrapper). Drinks are not included in this offer, but don't worry, they also have different kinds of drinks like soda, fruit juice, and beer. Your money is all worth it. They offered quality meat and quality service.
As you enter this restaurant, the staff will greet you and explain about their menus. There, she told us that there were different offers, we opted for the 699 or 80.90 steem offers as it is already a complete meal with pork, beef, and the side dish chosen by my kids. Also, if you are there to celebrate birthdays, the celebrant is free. Just present an ID or any proof that it is his birthday.

No worries about the waiting area. It’s very comfortable as well. You can just chill and relax while the staff gets your table ready. Actually, on weekends or during special occasions, it gets packed too. You have to wait for a vacant table. But it won`t take long because their staff will clean vacant tables immediately. They’re really quick at spotting when a customer is about to finish and get ready to take in the next one.

The place is super spacious, for real. You won’t be bumping elbows with strangers. Also, the burners are safe. They have smoke exhaust at every table, so that the smoke will not spread around the restaurant. And you don't have to worry that you get smelly after eating. Some restaurants use portable gas, which is unsafe, but Donjjang restaurant uses a coil, not only for safety, but also because meat tastes better when cooked with a coil.

The vibe of this restaurant is very Korean style. From the interior and exterior design up to the service. You don’t need to get food from their displays yourself. There are staff assigned to your table to do that for you. Just as requested, the food that you asked it will be served right away using a cart. By the way, don't request too much food as there are charges for any leftovers.

I can tell the thinly sliced meat they serve is fresh. Or shall I say a first class because it is not smelly, and the natural juice of meat is there. And the lettuce they give you for wrapping the grilled meat? Super fresh and clean. The kimchi is not that spicy, it is tolerable even to my little kid. The sauce is also originally from Korea. My kids love the kimbap as he puts a little wasabi in it. My youngest is all about the fried chicken and couldn’t get enough of it. As for that lechon kawali, man... the meat is so tender, and the skin is crazy crispy. It’s seriously delicious.
Everything they served was a hit. Especially since I’m all about that spice! Well, anyway, I am not that choosy kind of person in terms of food.
I can really tell that the staff are super friendly. Maybe that`s how they are trained by the management. And the vibe is really cozy. I’d totally recommend Donjjang restaurant to anyone craving Korean food with a little Filipino twist.

Thank you for the booming support @ashkhan. I trully appreciate it.
Now, this is making me crave for Korean food.
You will love it, especially if you are into spicy food. Most of their dishes have chili in them.
I do love them a lot but I once took a big bite into their green chili that was too hot for me.
