Hello to all history lovers

Today I wanted to share with you some photos that I took on the Path of Silence, a historical but also very naturalistic path located on the Asiago Plateau in the province of Vicenza in Italy.

In my opinion it can be a very interesting place, both for people who love history and for people fond of more naturalistic environments, But above all the purpose of this partly artistic installation is to enhance the memory of the victims of the Great War and to reflect on the peace and history that there was in these places.

In fact this installation is located close to the front of the First World War, where unfortunately many people died here and where unfortunately man has not yet learned anything from the bad things of war.

Technically I counted about 10 artistic installations, but anyway at the end of this video I will leave you some sites Where you can find some more detailed information, Maybe If you happen to be in these parts.

There is the installation dedicated to the rediscovered peace, there is the installation of the letters, that is, the plates with letters written by the soldiers, there is the installation with the black labyrinth with the word peace in 36 languages. In short, all these installations, as I was telling you, lead us to reflect on who we were in the past, and above all as men where we intend to go, which is the thing that should make us reflect in this precise historical moment.

Naturally, the beauty of these installations is that they are inserted in the naturalistic context, and surely this arouses even more emotions, in fact during my walk this experience made me reflect a lot and surely it would make you reflect too.

I parked the car at the Campomuletto refuge and practically the path starts a few meters from the refuge and I must say that it is also well marked so it is impossible to go wrong or get lost and the path is about three kilometers that I practically walked in about an hour and a half, with my calm and my tranquility.

If you are not well trained like me, do not worry because the difference in altitude is not even 100 meters and among other things I also found some families who were walking it even if in some points it can be a bit complicated due to the morphology of the terrain.

I hope this post of mine was interesting, I thank you if you read it. See you next time
