It's how my journey started

I love traveling, and it makes me happy, but it also sends nice vibes to my mind and gives me a strange sense of satisfaction. I try to take trips, long and short, throughout the year and travel to places unknown and places I have visited before. Until a few months ago I used to be a full-time traveler because my marketing job allowed me to visit places.

A recent destination

I would love to travel more, as I wish to see many other places that have long been on my wish list, but right now I am not in a regular job, so I travel as much as I can within my budget or as much as I can.

As I said, my first trip was arranged by my uncle, and ever since that first trip, I have been passionate about traveling. I have traveled to different places in different ways: independent travel, group trips, package holidays, cruises, hiking, road trips, or you name it. I believe every trip taught me something new, but then each travel has its pros and cons, but I can say I have definitely learned something from my travel experiences.

Back to my first travel when I traveled to Kashmir for the first time and what I saw there the travel bug hit me and it hit me hard. It was a memorable trip, being my first time traveling alone, and that will never be erased from my memory.

I started that trip from Delhi and reached Haridwar, where I bought my first camera, a basic camera that allowed 12 photos per roll. And then I fell in love with travel. I always wanted to go to Himalayas and what better than Kashmir to watch Himalayas from close quarters.

I think it was true love, which is continuing to date. A love that makes you addicted for life and that hurts when you don't get a chance to travel. A love that lasts forever—I guess my love for travel is the same.

When I remember my first trip to Kashmir, I feel as if those two weeks were the most beautiful days of my life, and then I was not able to recognize myself.

I like to travel independently to places having beautiful landscapes or historical sites. I love visiting archaeological sites, but outdoors, biking and boating are my preferred places.

It's really hard to convince me to go to a beach and stay there for long. I can maybe take a day or two off, but after that I need to get active and get out and about! Mountains attract me, as I am from the Himalayan region of my country.

When I visit a place, I explore the area fully. I'm not a hectic traveler that would see places in haste. I don't go places just to tell my friends I was there and there and there, but I wish to see the local life. I mix budget travel as well as spend lavishly depending on the site. I've loved traveling ever since I can remember because my parents took me out right from a very young age.

We did a lot of local travel during our summers and many weekends, but I was interested in long-distance travel. So I found my way to travel long distances by choosing marketing as a profession.
