This morning I started my day by going to a nearby traditional market. As usual, the market is a colorful place, the hustle and bustle of vendors and shoppers bargaining with each other, creating a unique atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. My purpose in going to the market this time was to stock up on various daily necessities, especially ingredients to support the small business I run with my family.

Upon arriving at the market, my first step was to the vegetable vendor. There, I bought fresh, ripe, red tomatoes ready to use. These tomatoes will be an essential addition to the dish, providing a distinctive, fresh, sour flavor. Next, I bought red chilies. For us, chilies are a key ingredient, and they're a must-have ingredient, as our customers love the spicy flavor in our dishes.

Then I went to the noodle vendor to buy yellow noodles. These noodles will be the main ingredient in several dishes we serve at our small business, including simple fried noodles, which are quite popular. I also bought some additional supplies, such as cooking oil, spices, and a few other small appliances to ensure smooth cooking.

Shopping at a traditional market always offers a unique experience. Besides getting ingredients at more affordable prices, I also get to choose the best quality directly from the vendors. Interacting with the vendors creates a warm atmosphere, with laughter, stories, and even tips on choosing good ingredients.

After gathering all my supplies, I returned home happy. For me, this simple activity is part of the struggle to maintain the sustainability of my family's small business. From tomatoes, chilies, yellow noodles, to other supplies, everything plays a vital role in supporting the production process of the food we will eventually sell.

Although it seems simple, shopping at this traditional market always reminds me of the value of hard work, togetherness, and the importance of maintaining good relationships with everyone. Every ingredient I bring home is not just a kitchen necessity, but also part of the hope that our small business will continue to grow and benefit our family.
