Hello friends, today I wanted to share something unique with you, an experience that made me discover this place, a place with a great natural beauty, but one that I think is worth exploring.
I'm talking about the Brustolà Labyrinth, a beautiful path through the rocks on the Asiago Plateau. This place was already important during the First World War, precisely because soldiers found refuge here, both to fight and to escape the atrocities of war. It has now become one of the most exclusive destinations for hikers who come to this area.

Let's say these are always very beautiful places from a naturalistic perspective, but we must show a lot of respect because, unfortunately, many people died here a few years ago due to the war.
Ultimately, this place is nothing more than a maze of crevasses, as you can see from the photos of the trails that cross these very narrow passages. Let's just say this is the result of nature's work, given that these mountains are karst, so they have a very friable type of rock. But then, as I was saying, during the Great War, they were adapted and transformed into trenches.

I started from the Campomuletto refuge, located not far from the town of Gallio, and reached this place by car. Let's just say that some of the sections here are very narrow, and sometimes you have to take off your backpack to get through. The route is approximately 4 km long, and can be completed in about two hours of fairly slow walking.

Of course, the route is suitable for experienced hikers, as there are some very narrow sections, some ups and downs, and some fairly exposed sections. So, you need to be very careful, and it's especially not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia. In short, you always need to be prepared for these places.

Of course, below I'll leave you all the useful information for reaching this place, such as the GPS track, which is essential because otherwise it's really difficult to find. I recommend paying attention to the weather conditions, which are very important, and also to technical clothing and footwear, which really make a difference. Thank you for reading the post, and I'll see you next time.
