Impossible to resist lampredotto!

Hello friends, how are you? I hope everything is going well, for some time I have opened a new channel alongside hotspot Italy dedicated more specifically to tourists who want to come to Italy to visit it, I want to create content specifically to talk about more traditional things about Italy, but also about places that I think are less known for tourism, in short, the idea would be to create a guide for more sustainable tourism and less overtourism.

Today in particular in this video I wanted to talk to you about lampredotto, one of the symbolic dishes of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine but above all a street food that you absolutely must try if you come to Italy Especially if you come to Florence or other areas of Tuscany.

In fact, lampredotto is made with one of the four parts of the bovine stomach that is practically cooked slowly and served in a sandwich. A dish that was once considered a poor dish but that in reality has become a very important dish full of flavor and is usually accompanied by a green or spicy sauce and can be eaten in those kiosks that are still found around Florence that are called trippai.
I had basically tasted it once and it didn't drive me crazy, More than anything it is a bit heavy as a sandwich and therefore if you are out and about visiting monuments and museums it is not the best thing to eat, However in my opinion for those who come to Italy you must definitely try it and you will surely have eaten something similar abroad because it seems to me that they also do similar things in some places in South America.
