Noale, a beautiful medieval city

It is always very nice to read your posts and always discover new places to visit, but today I would like to share with you a place that I have visited several times and that I was lucky enough to visit last week too, which is Noale, a beautiful Italian town of about 16,000 inhabitants located in the province of Venice.

A very quiet city, rich in history with medieval origins, in fact the first military outpost present there was built around the year one thousand.

I had probably already told you in a previous post about Rocca Tempesta, Practically what remains of the castle of Noale and was built by the Tempesta family as a defensive system based on walls and moats, unfortunately now only a part of it remains.

When I was there, there was basically the edition of the Palio di Noale which is a sort of historical revisitation of an ancient tradition that is very important for this medieval city, but next week if I have time I will try to be present at the Infiorata another beautiful event that always takes place in this splendid city.

If you happen to take a holiday in Italy, I recommend you visit this interesting city that is probably a little off the classic tourist circuits, but this does not mean that it is not interesting to visit.

In fact, the most convenient way to reach Noale from Venice is by train in about 30 minutes, spending about a ticket that can vary between three and €5, so let's say it is also quite cheap.

Otherwise, to reach Noale by car from Venice the distance is about 27 km and there are several parking lots to leave the car also quite safe.

In my opinion, Noale with the castle represent an important example of a fortified medieval city in Italy, not the only one because there are others too. However, in my opinion, it is very interesting to visit.
