And today I am sharing with you a place in Cox's Bazar district of Bangladesh where I went at February (22-02-25).The main purpose of coming here was to buy some Fresh Fish.

Cox's Bazar Fishery Ghat is located west of Bakkhali River in Cox's Bazar District.

Here are the different species of fish captured from the Bay of Bengal. Which we usually can't buy from super all or market because the types of fish available in the market are frozen, fish caught one to one and a half months ago. If you want to take the last sea food taste, the joy of buying fresh fish from this fishery ghat was different.

These fish are so tasty, especially Rupchada, Coral Fish, Laitta Fish, Indian Salman, Sea Eel, Octopus, Lobster, Suiquid, Shrimp, Crab, Sea Bine. There are many different types of sea fish. Moreover, different types of fish of different colors and different shapes. Some fish are sold as hali, some fish as 100 or thousands and some fish as maund or beard.

Bengali fishermen risked their lives in trawlers in the deep sea and went out to catch fish from the bottom of the sea and that is their occupation.They spent two to three days in the sea catching fish and bringing them to Fishery Ghat in trawlers. In the morning, fishermen's trawlers/(engine-powered boats) are crowded and they are landing at the wharf with rows of fish from each boat.

As soon as the fish are taken off the boat, the wholesalers start moving to sell the fish.	As soon as the fish is brought down from the boat, the fish baskets are carried on the shoulders for landing.

Bringing fish from boats and some are buying and selling at the wharf and there are some empty spaces for selling fish located at the wharf which are molded with pick cement and. Fish traders are sitting with different types of fish The amount of fish that can be obtained from each boat, they buy all the fish, the type of fish that they like, all the fish. And that's the only wholesale fish market.But here some traders also sell retail fish so I also bought some retail fish from this wholesale market that day.

It is small in size as a selling point for old fish, but as it breaks down, it has been expanded further forward to accommodate more fish in stacks

After selling the fish, the remaining fish are frozen here and many buy these frozen fish.

Various types of cockshits and polythene of different sizes are sold here to buy and take fish. After buying the fish, when they are brought here, the shopkeepers pack the fish well with ice so that the fish stay fresh for two days.

A lot of ice has been left here for fish. These ice stars sell the ice to machine powder, and various traders come from here and buy this powdered ice to take the fish away.

It is a fish landing centre which is the largest from other fishery ghats in Cox's Bazar district. Water in this river is affected by tidal water.This fishery wharf wakes up every day before sunrise.Fish are bought and sold at this ghat from five in the morning to five in the afternoon. Early morning fish imports are relatively high.Fishermen, 'Fish wharfs and fish are sold according to the shape of the fish.But the price of fish is relatively high here.Moreover, according to the fish season, the price of fish fluctuates.
