Flight tales / (From Enugu to Abuja)

My first flight travel was awesome, smooth, and enjoyable, which I pray to continue traveling via flight as it is the most convenient means of transportation. I booked my flight ✈️ three days ahead of my journey to save cost and the stress of me running to the airport to catch up with my flight on time.

My flight was scheduled at 8:00am, and I arrived at the airport at 7:00am so I could do my check-in and enter the boarding room on time. Luckily for me, I checked in myself and selected my seat, which was confirmed at the airport.

It was around 7:40 am that I collected my boarding pass, and then I proceeded outside to enter the airplane with other passengers. At the beginning, I was kind of afraid, and I became more scared and felt as if my legs were no more the moment the airplane took off from the ground. As the airplane flew up, I felt like someone whose legs were hanging in the air, but I became balanced the next minute.

I experienced both cold and hot weather. As we passed through the sun, I felt hot, in the same way I felt cold when the airplane passed through cloudy weather. While in the airplane, I was well served and treated well like a VIP, which at first I was given a glass of water to drink, and also as the airplane landed at Abuja airport, I was given snacks before I came out of the airplane.

The experience I had travelling by flight ✈️ was totally different from the experience of me traveling using public transportation. Via roads, I would have spent up to 12 hours on the road, but with an airplane, it only took me 25 minutes to arrive at my destination, where I feel more relaxed and comfortable.

I forgot before the plane took off, the flight attendants announced that we should all put our phones on silent mode if we couldn't switch them off, which immediately after the announcement someone's phone then rang, which the person was curious about, which almost led to a dispute.
