My long bus trip experience.

If I had the opportunity to travel without taking a bus, I would love it because bus travel has never been favorable to me, as it is from one disappointment to another.

The longest bus journey I had experienced was my trip to the Sardauna local government area in Taraba State. If not for the NYSC, I wouldn't have known that such a place exists in Nigeria. My first time traveling to the place on a bus with other corpers was hell for me, not because of the distance, but because of the seating arrangement.

It was a journey of about 20 hours which you can imagine how someone who is not well seated inside a bus would feel. Due to the long hours of the journey and how the bus started bringing out bad smoke, some people's body systems couldn't bear the vomit and vomited inside the bus. I almost vomited but didn't because I sat closer to the door, which I wound down the screen to receive fresh air.

Another thing that made my journey stressful while traveling on a bus was the poor road conditions that the bus driver took us through. My journey on a bus has never been enjoyable to me as it is from one stress to another.
