CCLEX, Cordova City
Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway or also known as the CCLEX is one of the highlights here in Cebu, the Queen City of the South because it is considered as the longest bridge here in Philippines. This expressway connects Cordova City to Cebu City. It officially opened last April in the year 2022 and is 8.9 km long. It is purposely built to minimize the traffic here in Cebu. This is not just a simple bridge but it is as well a landmark and it really captures attention to anyone who will pass their. You can see how nice it is in daytime and is more beautiful at nighttime because of its colorful lights.
It is said to be also that CCLEX is a symbol of progress and innovation. The design of the said bridge showcases the iconic twin pylon towers with a cross shape.
CCLEX has indeed so many memories and is really important to the community. Aside from it reduces travel time among Cebuanos, it also symbolizes hope because the construction of it was completed despite of the pandemic and the strong typhoon. It reflects how determined the Filipinos are despite of all the challenges they had encountered.
Everytime we wil go to SM Seaside, we will use this route aside from we had a faster travel we can also see how nice it is especially going home. Everytime you passs their make sure to bring P100 as toll fee.
