Shaheed A.H.M. Kamaruzzaman Central Park & ​​Zoo, located in the heart of Rajshahi city, is a traditional and popular entertainment center. It is a place of special interest not only for the people of Rajshahi but also for tourists coming from different parts of the country. This park and zoo will be the ideal destination if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time in the natural environment. This park is named in memory of the great freedom fighter and politician of Bangladesh, Shaheed A.H.M. Kamaruzzaman. Spread over an area of ​​about 33 acres in the center of Rajshahi city, under the Forest Department, this park easily attracts the attention of the citizens.

The most interesting area of ​​the park is the Cartoon Statue Zone. It houses colorful statues of popular cartoon characters like Tom and Jerry, Spiderman, Doraemon, Mickey Mouse, Noddy, etc. However, I took a picture standing in front of a funny cartoon.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheater is a modern and excellent knowledge-based entertainment center. It is located right next to Shaheed A.H.M. Kamaruzzaman Central Park & ​​Zoo, which serves as a source of double joy for visitors.

This Novotheater has been built in the name of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, through which a modern platform for science practice has been created along with paying homage to him. Inaugurated in 2023, this institution has opened a new door for children and teenagers interested in science in Rajshahi. You can see the name of this park next to the Novo Theater.

TICKETING PROCESS 💸

The first thing you see when entering the park is the large ticket counter. The staff working here are very cooperative. The ticket price is relatively affordable, which is suitable for everyone from ordinary people to students. There are separate tickets for children and adults at the counter. Some people also get discounts if they come in groups. After buying the ticket, you will enter a wonderful fairy tale kingdom through the entrance. There, a signboard has written the entrance ticket price of 25 taka or 2 STEEM approx. After purchasing the ticket, I took a picture with the ticket in hand to show you.

So we bought tickets from there for 25 BDT. We entered with tickets. The interior was very beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. From start to finish the roads were very well laid out and it was very peaceful. There were many flowers around and there were many fountains and lakes and in front there was a huge zoo. So I'm showing it slowly. First I went to a lake. There was a huge cartoon or cartoon figure. I can also call it Hattimatim Tim. So I went in front of it and took a picture.

Rajshahi city is very beautiful. Earlier Rajshahi city was not so good, but since last few years Rajshahi city has been made much clean and entertaining. So I wandered there for quite some time. I saw a lot of people doing different types of videos there. So we were going there and saw a children's park next to it.

There is a huge boat in the children's park and this boat is mainly used to entertain the children by moving along. So I was there for a while and there were no children because it was noon. There was much more to amuse children at the children's park. For example, there were small trains where children were picked up and a variety of funny cartoons.

A little further from the children's park, we were sitting by the lake. The water of the lake was very clear and clean. So we were sitting there. The lakes were beside us. There were benches on both sides for the tourists to sit. They spent their precious time sitting in front of the lake. So there was a bridge over the lake. You can go from one side to the other over this bridge.

So we stood on this bridge and took some pictures. This bridge brought many benefits and it was a very modern bridge. People come from far and wide to take pictures on this bridge. This bridge basically enhances the beauty of this park. My uncle said he would stand on the bridge and take pictures. So I was giving him the picture. So I saw many people from the neighborhood coming towards this bridge after buying nuts from the nearby shop.

I didn't understand why they were buying almonds or why the shopkeeper said to take almonds when going over the bridge. So after a while I saw that there were so many beautiful fish under the bridge that I couldn't believe it. Those fishes were of different colors and they were very big fishes. These fish were mainly fed with nuts. So I was feeding these nuts to these fishes. The fishes were eating nuts and were very happy. So from above I made a gif video to show you.

The lake is filled with colorful fish, some orange, some white, and some golden. Visitors stand on the shore of the lake and throw food at the fish, which then rise to the surface to eat.

I was returning from there and saw a zoo nearby. So there are many deer inside the zoo. These deer are playing with each other. Many roam around in groups, some eat grass, some stand near water. Their running and jumping give great joy to children. Although their sports ground was very big and dusty, it was not clear in the picture. So I stood there for a while and watched them play.

Then we have to leave because it's been a long time. So after we left there we showed the ticket and went out. So today's indoor atmosphere was very good, everyone will be blown away by the park. So from there we quickly came to uncle's house. Today's trip was very nice we walked around a lot with everyone and enjoyed this park. It is the most beautiful park in Rajshahi city.
