Teknaf Myanmar Transit Jetty, Teknaf, Cox's bazar

Dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. I am also well, thanks to Allah's immense mercy. Today, I will discuss a place with you that is one of the notable locations in Bangladesh. One of the rivers is called the Naf River, which is located in the Teknaf region of southeastern Bangladesh. On the other side of this river is the country of Myanmar, and this side is our Bangladesh.

It has truly been designated as an interesting place for me. If you want to come here, you must go to the Cox's Bazar district in the southeastern region of Bangladesh, and then head about 80 kilometers west to the Teknaf region, where the Naf River is located. This river connects our two countries. The name of this river, which lies between Myanmar and Bangladesh,

is the Naf River. As far as I have learned, the length of this river is 63 kilometers, and it originates from the Bay of Bengal. The average depth of the Naf River is 128 feet (39 meters), with a maximum depth of 400 feet (120 meters). The river is considered to be one of the reasons for the first Anglo-Burma war.

In the picture, you can see that just across the river on the black side, there are trees and what appears to be a village. There resides a population from Myanmar. Anyway, when you come here, the first thing you need to do to enter this river is to cross a bridge, and this bridge connects from the river to the fish of the river. This means that the bridge has been constructed 500 meters from the riverbank.

To go to that river, we crossed a bridge through a natural environment, and there is a marked point in the middle of the bridge at one end. This spot is quite valuable, and from there, people can enjoy this river. There is also a place with shopping and restrooms available. Additionally, some people are sitting there and fishing with a box. I have presented some pictures of that point below.

This zero point inside this river is a very important place, as you can see I have taken four pictures of this point.

From this point, the area I observed has a length and width of about 200 meters. Additionally, those who are fishing here are also selling the fish after catching them. Naturally, they catch the fish here and sell it in the market afterward. These fish are sold here because they catch fish from the sea. I initially mentioned that this is a river flowing from the Bay of Bengal. Many fish enter here from there
