Metrorail Travel with Family

Bangladesh is not lagging behind in modernity and technological development. Bangladesh is now slowly moving towards a smart and digital life. People's lives are being made easier and more comfortable. This is the goal of launching the Metrorail in Dhaka. Due to which the people of Dhaka can travel easily. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched it for the first time on December 28, 2022. Its journey started with some specific stations. However, currently its number of stations is 16. As a result, office-going people can reach their destinations very easily. The stations are from Uttara North to Motijheel. It is operational 6 days a week. Saturday is a weekend. It is operational from 7:10 am to 8:40 pm. Currently, it has also become a beautiful place for people to travel. People from the village come to Dhaka to travel by metro rail as a hobby.

Last week, my elder sister and brother's daughters from our village came to visit Dhaka. They have been wanting to travel by metro rail in Dhaka for a long time. For this, they asked me to take them on a metro rail trip. For this, we decided to go on a metro rail trip with our family on Wednesday. We live in Savar, Dhaka with my family. From there, the easiest way to travel by metro is to go to the Mirpur-10 metro rail station and travel to other stations from there. After making all the preparations at home, I went out with my sister, sister-in-law and brother's children for a metro rail trip. The little children were very happy. After leaving the house, we took a bus to Mirpur-10 metro station. It took about an hour to go. As soon as we got off the bus, we saw the gate of Mirpur-10 metro station. We entered the station through the gate.

The children were very happy when we entered inside. But I was surprised to see the situation inside. The crowd at the ticket counter was so large that everyone was standing in a long line to collect tickets. Only one person can buy many tickets at once. So, I made the family stand in one place and bought the tickets myself. After standing in line for some time, I was able to buy the tickets. There were seven of us, young and old, so we had to buy 7 tickets. We would travel from Mirpur-10 Metro Station to Bijoy Sarani Station. Then from there, we would return to Mirpur-10 Station from Bijoy Sarani Station on the full moon day. When I was giving the tickets to everyone, my brother's sons and daughters were very happy. Then we all took pictures with the tickets.

Now, after scanning the tickets, we passed the gate and went to the station through the moving line. Where the train would arrive. When we went, we saw that there was a lot of crowd there, just like at the ticket counter. We had to stand in line there to get on the train. What else could we do, we all stood in line. After that, the train arrived a few minutes later. We boarded the train with great difficulty despite the crowd. It was not possible to take any pictures because of the crowd inside. The train was moving very loudly, but we could not understand much from inside. We were reaching one station after another after 2/3 minutes. After some time, we reached our destination, Bijoy Sarani station.

The stations are far above the main road. Buses or vehicles ply below. The designs inside the stations are very beautiful. Here, you do not have to stand in line and buy tickets, but if you want, you can also buy tickets yourself with the help of a machine. ATM booths of different banks have also been placed at each station, so that you can easily withdraw money. All in all, the metro rail journey has made the life of the people of Dhaka more comfortable and easy. Those of you who have traveled, tell us how quickly you can reach your destination. I have traveled by metro rail three times this time. I like it a lot.

It was very nice to travel by metro rail like this with my family. It will be a memorable moment in my life. I don't know if I will ever be able to travel like this again.
