The Asia International Trade Fair is the largest among all the fairs held in Chittagong throughout the year. Previously, it was held at the large field of Polo Ground School field adjacent to Tiger Pass, but this year its location has been changed. This month-long fair will now be organized at a new location, so I thought of adding the fair's address to the Atlas-map and also sharing my visiting experience there.

Currently, the location selected for the fair is a convention center. The two-storied height building with a large parking area is sufficient to host the entire fair. The organizing authority has decided that the Asia International Fair will be held every year from now on at the International Convention Center adjacent to VIP Tower in the Kazir Dewri area.

A ticket is required to enter any trade fair. The entry fee has been fixed at Tk 30/1.7 STEEM per person. The fair remains open for customers from 10 am to 10 pm. However, the joy of this fair can be enjoyed every year in February-March. This time, it started in mid-February and lasted until the end of March.

Let's discuss the stalls inside the fair and what's available for customers there. The main attraction of the fair is its stalls. As far as I know, this time stalls from about 5-6 Asian countries including India, Pakistan, and Nepal have participated to market their products.

Honestly speaking, there was a greater variety of items for women than for men. There was a huge collection of handbags, bangles, imitation jewelry, and makeup items in the stalls. The jute bags made in our country and the new collection of shoes seemed quite unique to me, but all the items were for women.

Whenever I go to a fair, the things I look for are home decor items. The huge collection of various types of home decor items caught my eye; I just felt like buying all of them. I spent the most time at a stall that had all kinds of home decor items.

Let me share what I bought from there this time. Although everything there was worth liking, buying something that I already have seemed like a waste to me, so I always pay attention to the things I need. I bought a bunch of artificial flowers, a bird's nest, a brush holder and a plastic glass.

Towards the end, I visited the foreign country stalls. There was a good collection of foreign carpets, curtains, and women's dresses there. I visited several ceramics stalls where beautiful dinner sets caught my eye, but I didn't have the budget to buy such expensive dinner sets and ceramic items.

I visit this fair every year. Earlier, it was held in an open field, due to which customers had to face uncomfortable situations due to scorching sun or rain. From this time onwards, it is being held inside a fully air-conditioned community center, so customers could visit the stalls at a leisurely pace.

If you want to visit this trade fair, you will have to wait until next February. The main purpose of this post is to pin the new location of the fair on the map. I found this year's fair quite comfortable. When it is held next time, do come with your family to visit the beautiful things and stalls of the fair.
