Garba Restaurant & Cafe is a newly opened restaurant in Bhatiary area, specializing in Thai and Mexican cuisine, along with a variety of drink items for food enthusiasts. With its unique interior and vintage style within a small space, the restaurant is quickly gaining customer satisfaction with its food.

It's located in the new BMA Market on Bhatiary Hathazari Road. They opened their restaurant in a suitable location, targeting customers visiting nearby schools, colleges and the BMA market visitor. Their service is available daily from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

The interior area of ​​the restaurant

Surprisingly, they provide their services in a small room, approximately 150 square feet. Due to the small size, their customer capacity at one time is somewhat limited. When I entered, the entire restaurant was full of customers.

Regarding the interior, they've maintained a very simple, vintage-style ambiance. Its fully air-conditioned restaurant, beautiful lighting and interior design on the ceiling.

You'll notice some balloons in the pictures; these were put up during their inauguration. Inside, there are glass walls on three sides, and one wall has a beautiful textured wallpaper that enhances the interior's beauty.

If you look at the cover photo of this post, you'll understand that their glass-covered entrance structure is enough to attract pedestrians from outside. From inside you can see everything outside and from outside, you can see a part of the interior. Besides, there were no other design elements like those in larger restaurants, as the space is quite small.

Approximately 17-18 customers can enjoy their food at once. The seating arrangement inside is a bit cramped but once seated, enjoying the food wasn't much of a problem. Customers can comfortably enjoy their service on colorful plastic two-four person chairs. In my opinion, size doesn't matter much if they can satisfy customers with their food.

Seating for customers

They primarily focus on their food items. They offer Mexican, Thai, Chinese food and their drink variations were also plentiful. They have two separate menu cards: one detailing all the drinks and the other detailing all the appetizers. The prices of the food seemed reasonable according to the recipes. In the menu, you can see that the appetizers are available in quantities for one and three people. I first thoroughly checked the drinks and selected the Oreo Milk Shake and a small Mint Lemonade. Then, from the other menu, among the noodle items, I ordered the 1:1 Chicken Chowmein.

Many restaurants don't have all their menu items available, but a good thing about Garba is that they keep all their items available. Although I had to wait 20 minutes after ordering, considering the crowd and it being a new establishment, this is somewhat understandable.

It wasn't possible to receive all my orders at once. So, the Oreo Milk Shake was brought to my table first. I tried to taste it. There was a wafer-powder-like topping that tasted quite delicious with every sip of the drink.

Afterward, the Chicken Chowmein and Mint Lemonade were served. The presentation of the chowmein was quite appealing. Since these noodles are long, two forks were provided for ease of eating. The food portion was sufficient, and the taste was extraordinary.

Finally, I tried the Mint Lemonade. There was nothing special about it; it was like all other mint lemonades. However, the drink seemed to have a higher amount of mint and being cold, it tasted quite good.

Tissue facilities

If I talk about other facilities, due to their limited space, they lacked extra facilities like a handwashing basin, washroom, or TV service. I hope they will arrange to add these very soon. However, they did provide tissues for hand cleaning, music system, and air conditioning for comfortable dining in the heat.

In my opinion, the size of a restaurant doesn't matter much. A restaurant satisfies customers through the quality of its food, which Garba fully provided. In the future, they might expand to a larger size and open branches in other important parts of the city, but for that, they must maintain the delicious taste of these recipes.
